Yassa Spice – fresh scent of ginger mixed with finest herbs
As fluffy and cheerful as the name suggests, Yassa tastes delicious and delicate on poultry, vegetable dishes, quinoa or rice dishes. The Yassa mixture comes from Senegal, where Yassa is the favourite dish of many. There, they prepare finely fragrant stews with chicken, vegetables, rice and Yassa in them. It tastes good and puts you in a good mood.
Recipe suggestions: Delicious in vegetable dishes with rice or chicken. Marinate chicken cut into strips with yassa and olive oil, set aside for 1 hour and then fry. Next to it cook the rice. Mix 5 different vegetables in a pot, let it cook for about 10 minutes, season it with yassa. Put the chicken and rice in the pot and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
