Malawi Gold – First fruity, then spicy then SHARP! A poem for spicy eaters!
The chilli aromas of this great sauce unfold slowly and persistently on the palate. Gives fish and co. a wonderful spiciness.
Recipe suggestions: THE gourmet sauce for seasoning poultry, fish and beef. Delicious in pasta dishes with seafood or in vegetable dishes or casseroles with rice or quinoa. A great delight in curries. For spicy eaters, the sauce also tastes good in salad dressings.
Ingredients: Vinegar, water, chili (7%), canola oil, carrots, sweet potatoes, sugar, coriander, garlic, onions, salt, turmeric, additives: citric acid (E330), xanthan gum (E415), potassium sorbate (E202), sodium benzoate (E211)

“I crossed Lake Malawi to watch the fishermen at work. At home, the women were preparing their magical Malawi Gold Sauce, a thick golden sauce stirred in a hammered copper wok over an open fire. When the men return home, the fresh fish is added to the sauce and served with rice. Everyone sits around the fire and talks about the day’s events.”
