*The species-rich fynbos vegetation has been declared one of the six plant kingdoms of the world. It is located in a 100 – 200 km wide coastal strip between Port Elizabeth and Clanwilliam. It is an important part of the Cape Floral region with 9000 plant species on 90000m2 of which 70% are not found anywhere else.

What does the toi on the lid mean? Toi’ is pronounced with a soft palate click on the letter T. In Nama – the language of the two tribes Khoi and San – it means salt. It is considered by the people as an extremely sought-after commodity.

The decoration on the tins are ostrich egg shell pearls, which originate from the traditional San art, they mean wealth.
